Lampley's A - Z

A to Z contains 99 necessary ingredients, everything that I would want to add to a horse’s feed. A to Z is the result of over 25 years of research and over 30,000 natural feeding experiments.

Everything that happens in the body requires enzymes. Without enzymes there would be no animal life. The body makes enzymes for repair work and for normal functioning, as well as for digesting food. A to Z supplies digestive enzymes to improve digestion. Since his digestion is better the horse gets more vitamins, minerals, electrolytes and proteins out of his feed! It also means the number of enzymes the organs need to manufacture is reduced because the enzymes for digestion have already been supplied to the body, which leaves the organs free to manufacture other enzymes, such as enzymes needed for normal body function and repair. Having more of those enzymes available means the body repair can proceed much better and much faster. That means the body is doing minor injury repair work long before it becomes a major, or even detectable, injury. ENZYMES ARE THE KEY —the miracle of life depends upon them. Always look for enzymes in any and every supplement for your horse. When the millions of microscopic injuries inflicted upon the body during the process of serious training are repaired better and more quickly, the ligaments, tendons, muscles, and bones become much stronger and resist injury better. Also the muscles use oxygen and energy more efficiently. This cuts down on lactic acid in the bloodstream and muscle tissue often by more than 50%, since the body produces lactic acid for that same repair work. By improving oxygenation and the use of oxygen, it can add up to a horse getting from a 40% to a 60% increase of more available oxygen to the body. Remember that a 25% increase in oxygen supply can mean an increase in the value of a performance horse, and can double the value of a racehorse.

Hi-Phos A to Z is available for people who feed their horses alfalfa hay. Alfalfa hay is high in calcium, which creates a direct imbalance to phosphorous. Hi-Phos A to Z has the additional phosphorous and phosphorous-digesting enzymes to help balance the diet.

Feeding instructions : Feed 4 ounces twice daily in grain for an average size horse.
